Kim has been teaching and dancing for several years at various educational institutions. Kim was an adjunct professor at SUNY Niagara and Niagara University, teaching classes in theatre and dance including being the artistic director of Tanzen, a former dance company at SUNY Niagara. Kim has worked with artists such as Jon Lehrer, Garth Fagan, and Emily Stein in collaborations between school and venues in the Western New York area. Kim has also taught master classes at SUNY Fredonia and at the American College Dance Association (ACDA). Kim performed at Artpark in Lewiston, NY at the fairy festival, Carmina, and The Odyssey.
Kim has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master’s in Fine Arts from SUNY Brockport in dance performance and choreography. Kim believes that anyone can dance and the best reward is being able to navigate the way you move and the voice you develop while doing so.
